Language and its visual design are central elements in Babak Saed's art. Poetry also plays a leading role in his current works, especially in the glass and mirror objects as well as those made of printed acrylic glass. Using the means of conceptual art, Saed explores the possibilities of his medium and lets his audience participate in the power and beauty of language. He counters the daily flood of images and texts in media with works that unite visual art and literature, Western and Persian culture, pop aesthetics and calligraphy.
