The illustrated book is published to accompany the exhibition of the same name at the Museum der Stadt Lünen, which has invited two artists, Matthias Beckmann and Patrick Borchers, to engage with the house and its diverse collections in an exhibition with their respective views and means. In drawings, photographs and videos, the two artists have captured objects, rooms and depots and in this way transferred things of everyday and home culture, agricultural household and work tools as well as diverse witnesses of the social and industrial history of Lünen into the present
