In 2021, the Meyer-Struckmann-Preis was presented to Prof. Dr. Manfred Krifka. The director of the Leibnitz Center for General Linguistics and professor at Humboldt University Berlin is being honored for his outstanding research and fundamental contributions to the nature of linguistic meaning and its cognitive anchoring. Krifka's research interests are primarily in linguistic semantics and pragmatics, but also in language typology and linguistic fieldwork, as well as in supporting research on multilingualism. The Festschrift documents the awarding of the prize by the Faculty of Philosophy of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in November 2021.
